A fun social and insightful focus group to celebrate Black History Month.
Take a break from your mid-day routine and head down to the Student Union to celebrate Black History Month with us!
What to Expect:
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM | Chill, Eat & Connect
Kick off your lunch break surrounded by great energy. We’ll be serving up delicious food alongside a playlist packed with your favourite Black artists. It’s the perfect, relaxed atmosphere to recharge, meet new people, and catch up with friends.
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Shape the Future: Black Students' Network
In the second half, we’re hosting an interactive focus group to lay the groundwork for a brand-new Black Students' Network. This is your chance to help shape the initiative from day one, tell us what you want to see, how we can best support you, and how we can effectively amplify all Black voices across campus.

Don't stop there! Be sure to head over to the Black History Month Talk, co-hosted with the African and Caribbean Society, kicking off later this evening at 6:00 PM.
